ICONIC MAZDA 767B RACE CAR VISITS MOTORTREND HEADQUARTERS

Last Thursday at the MotorTrend office in El Segundo, Super Street hosted a magazine release event to celebrate its first-ever Mazda-specific issue. The event invited MotorTrend On Demand subscribers, local Mazda owners, and automotive social media influencers to come check out some of the modified cars featured in Super Street, which includes Mazda Motorsports' iconic 767B race car. The 767B was first raced in Fuji, Japan, in 1988 and then competed at the 24 Hour of Le Mans in 1989 where it finished ninth overall. The 630-hp race car was the precursor to Mazda's 787 which eventually won Le Mans. It was a treat to showcase such an iconic and legendary vehicle inside the MotorTrend studio for Super Street's event. Significant influencers in attendance included Hert Eugene of Hoonigan, drifter Collette Davis, car builder Bisi Ezerioha, photographer Larry Chen, and artist Jon Sibal.
