10 REASONS WHY THE ASTON MARTIN AM-RB 003 DAZZLES

10 REASONS WHY THE ASTON MARTIN AM-RB 003 DAZZLES If you paid any attention to the Geneva Motor Show this year, you probably noticed a trend. Sure, there were a few crossovers, and  Volkswagen  showed off  that electric dune buggy concept , but really, Geneva was a supercar show. From  the 1,600-hp Koenigsegg Jesko  and its twin-turbocharged V-8 to the 1,900-hp  all-electric Pininfarina Battista , the show was full of cars that belong on bedroom posters. Aston went even further, bringing  three  mid-engine supercars to Geneva. And the one that dazzled us the most was  the AM-RB 003 . Aston Martin  is much better known for its front-engine cars. And when it does them well, Aston does them really well. Just look at  the 2019 DBS Superleggera . It's stunning from almost every angle, the twin-turbo V-12 cranks out 715 hp and 664 lb-ft of torque, and despite being a comfortable grand tourer, it delivers truly incredible driving dynamics. But if Aston wants to run with the Ferrari

2019 PORSCHE 911 SPEEDSTER: 4 THINGS YOU GET, 4 THINGS YOU DON’T

2019 PORSCHE 911 SPEEDSTER: 4 THINGS YOU GET, 4 THINGS YOU DON’T Pure driving enjoyment is why the  Porsche 911  Speedster exists. It's a soft-topped swan song for the 991-generation 911; a celebration of the sounds and sensations that make the car great. The Stuttgart brand will only build 1,948 Speedsters, and prices start at $275,750. That buys  a majestic driver's car  with a list of bespoke parts, but there are also some head-scratching omissions from the spec sheet. Here are things you get, and others you don't, on the  2019 Porsche 911  Speedster. GET: MODEL-SPECIFIC ENGINE Don't think of the Speedster as simply a convertible GT3. Although they share underpinnings, the road-oriented Speedster has numerous changes compared to the track-focused GT3. Those include the 4.0-liter flat-six engine, which  Porsche  considers an evolution of the GT3's mill. Each cylinder has its own throttle body, and fuel injection pressure is increased. These work to y

2018 HONDA CIVIC TYPE R: BABY GOT A NEW PAIR OF SHOES - LONG-TERM UPDATE 6

2018 HONDA CIVIC TYPE R: BABY GOT A NEW PAIR OF SHOES - LONG-TERM UPDATE 6 My driveway is steep. Over the past couple of months, I started noticing the CTR's traction control light blinking when I drove up it. I also noticed it when joining traffic on a 50-mph boulevard near my house. I've put on most of the Civic's miles commuting, but several trips to the hills surrounding L.A. as well as Randy Pobst "dusting off" the racing line at Willow Springs (three laps without a data logger attached—doh!) means the stock Continental SportContact 6 tires were, well, tired. Replacing with original equipment would cost $1,217 in total, but a set of Michelin Pilot Sport 4S shoes ($1,288) would afford us an opportunity to evaluate something different. Our friends at TireRack  shipped us a set , and we couldn't be happier. The Michelins produce noticeably less road noise and offer a more supple ride. Imagine the difference between thumping the ground with a clenched f
